The Isle of Wind follows Albin and Wren, two of many isle folk that live on floating land masses in the distant sky. Despite being isolated from the rest of the world, the habitants of the isle have blossomed a creative and rather colorful culture. With the community they have built over the last couple of centuries, many isle folk value the ‘I scratch your back you scratch mine’ mentality, thus a harmonious and paradise-like atmosphere has formed over time.
Albin, the falconer of the island, mostly keeps to himself. Tending to the birds he fosters when they are injured or are looking for a place to safely nest. While the entire island worships birds, he does not, “they're animals”. Often challenging the belief of the other islanders, he somewhat separates himself via clothes and housing location, remaining close to the cliffs where birds can easily reach him.
